According to reports from earlier this year, Steve Austin was given the opportunity to wrestle at WrestleMania 39 against either Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar, but the "Texas Rattlesnake" declined those offers. The AEW commentator made it plain on the most recent "Grilling JR" podcast that "Steve still has time to do something at WrestleMania."
Between now and WrestleMania, there are, of course, plenty of television episodes and a premium live event, allowing WWE plenty of opportunity to include Austin in "The Grandest Stage Of Them All." Ross believes that this is a possibility since Austin has in the past played a role that, in Ross' opinion, "would not be in a match." as when he officiated the historic fight between Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole.
Ross remarked, "He had the Kevin Owens thing at WrestleMania last year, which I thought was amazing, looked terrific. "However, they wrestled Steve's bout, and he gave it his best effort. You always enter a TV match, youngsters. Never, ever attempt any new moves on television. It's safer to just perform on television with content you are confident in your ability to execute."
Ross stated categorically that he does not understand what Austin would stand to gain from participating in another match and that he would "say no" if Austin asked him to wrestle once more. However, anything is possible in the business of professional wrestling, and WWE didn't reveal his bout at the previous show until the evening of the event, when he entered the ring.

WWE Legends Who Have Never Won the Organization's World Championship
The WWE Hall of Fame is the organization's method of honoring those who have contributed to the success of the global sports entertainment powerhouse. A who's who of the WWE has been admitted into this exclusive club since André the Giant became the inaugural entrant in 1993. There is no arguing that the wrestlers have all earned their places because to their impact on pro wrestling as a whole, even though some of the celebrity inductions are debatable and undoubtedly raise a few eyebrows.
Some of the inductees had varied degrees of success in the WWE, but they were never crowned World Champions there. A wrestling organization is the sum of its components, and the entire card is what makes up a show, therefore this is obviously not an assessment of their skills or success. However, there are a few unexpected Hall of Famers who, looking back, may have deserved to have won the big one while competing for the WWF or WWE. So let's take a look at some of the biggest talents who have never captured the World Championship in the organization as we stroll through the WWE Hall of Fame.
